コンセプトは”素材の味を確かに伝えるスプーン”。金属製のスプーンは時として素材本来の味を損ねてしまうことがあります。木、ガラス、磁器などでも代替可能であるが、ひと際美しい輝きと強さを併せ持ったジルコニアを選択しました。繊細な口当たりを出すために、ヘッドの淵を0.6mmまで薄くし、丁寧に磨きあげられています。口に触れた時のなめらかさは、食事をより楽しいものにしてくれるでしょう。デザインはシンプルかつスタイリッシュに、また、ヘッド部分との重心を考慮して、柄は軽いカーボンコンポジット素材とし、箸をモチーフに持ちやすくしています。（解説／ZIKICO）2017年12月発売 ¥16,000（税抜き）

独自の製造技術でジルコニアセラミックを0.6mmの薄さにし、その薄さとセラミックならではの温かみのある白、そして食材を包み込むオーバルなラインは、このスプーンを使って食べてみたいと思わせる素晴らしいシズル感を感じさせる。このスプーンを実現させる製造技術や、薄さ、質感へのこだわりは、日本人の感性として誇れるものと思う。（選定委員／松本 博子）

The concept is “the spoon that delivers the exact taste.” Metallic spoons can so- metimes detract from the original taste of what is being eaten. Wood, glass, or porcelain are used as alternative materials, but we chose zirconia, a ceramic that has both a beautiful brilliance and strength to match. The bowl of the spoon is thinned to 0.6mm and is polished with care to create a gentle touch when it comes into contact with the mouth. The smoothness of the spoon to the mouth will gua- rantee a more enjoyable meal. Chopsticks served as an inspiration for the easy grip and balanced distribution of weight. The zirconia ceramic is polished to 0.6mm with their own manufacturing techno- logy. Its thinness, its heartwarming white ceramic material, its oval line that serves to support the cuisine: these are all aspects of the product sure to impress.
