「建てる」をもっと簡単に、「住む」をもっと自由に。インスタントハウスは、まず送風機で気球のように膜を膨らませ、続いて内側から空気含有量の高い断熱材を定着して、あっという間に建てられる住まいです。形状や大きさも機能も自由に選べ、質量が小さいことから素人でも制作が可能で、ひとつの住まいの工期は数時間と短く、廉価性、簡便性、速度性、技術性、汎用性にも優れた構築物です。膜と断熱材のみから構成されたシンプルな構築物に施された大なり小なりのデザインにより、住まいとしての断熱性や遮音性にも長けており、寒暑、風雨、積雪、地震、強風などの外的要因の影響を極めて受けにくく、エネルギー消費を最大限まで抑えられる住まい方を実現します。

簡易の居住空間は、内側から柱で支えたり、外から綱で引っ張ったり、壁を組み合わせて空間をつくるのが一般的であるが、このインスタントハウスは違う。ドーム状の生地と断熱材で外観も内装側も独特の丸みを帯びた存在感だ。サイズに柔軟な工法と断熱、生地の変更により意匠のバリエーションも期待でき、用途拡大が期待される。

Instant House is a home easily built and liberates living. It can be built in a few hours, first by using a blower to in.ate the membrane like a balloon and then by applying thermal insulation material including high air content from the inside. The shape, size, and functions can be chosen freely, and the lightness allows even amateurs to create them. It is also inexpensive, simple, fast, technical, and versatile. The simple structure consists only of the membrane and insulation, and the design of the structure, both large and small, provides excellent thermal and sound insulation properties. Therefore it is extremely resistant to the effects of external factors such as cold, heat, wind, rain, snow, earthquakes, and strong winds. It realizes a lifestyle with minimum energy consumption.

Easy assembly-type living space is generally created and supported by internal columns, external ropes, or combined walls, but this instant house is different. With the dome-shaped fabric and insulation, the house shows a unique rounded presence both on the exterior and interior. Its construction method is flexible in size, with options to change the heat insulation and fabric. We can surely expect the expansion of the variety of designs and applications.
