地球上に悪路が存在する限り作り続けなければならない。そんな社会的使命を負った車がランドクルーザーである。そして、世界中が注目するランドクルーザーに求められるデザインには「堅牢でありながらも普遍的かつ機能的であり、それでいて新しい」という極めて難しいテーマが課せられる。ウチソトに塊感のある重厚な形態でありながらも機能性に優れた300は、その難題に見事応えたデザインと言えるのではないだろうか。

LAND CRUISER has the longest history as a product in TOYOTA, and it is one of the very few full-scale off-road vehicles with a ladder-frame structure. It has long been selected by customers as the absolute model symbolizing TOYOTA’s QDR (Quality, Durability, Reliability). The model inherits the assets of the past generations and stays true to its origin while pursuing new values as an authentic vehicle with the highest grade of design. Given a sophisticated depth and mature charm as the flagship, the car aims to offer unrivaled qualities unseen in any other vehicle.

All eyes worldwide are on LAND CRUISER, to create a design that is strong, yet universal, functional, and still new all at the same time. The 300 model that has a solid mass feel while having excellent functionality, could be stated as the design that brilliantly responds to such difficult requirements.
