光加工機Lasermeister シリーズは、「史上最も精密な機械」といわれる半導体露光装置の開発、製造で培った光計測・精密制御を応用し、レーザーによるさまざまな加工を高精度で行うことができるニコン独自の加工機です。金属積層造形から、マーキング、接合など幅広いニーズの材料加工に対応します。「誰でも簡単に使える装置」をコンセプトに圧迫感のないフォルムや分かり易さと使い易さを目指したGUIなど機器と人の心理的距離が近づくことを目指した安心して使える装置です。

「誰でも簡単に使える装置」をコンセプトに開発されたこの光加工機は、従来型に比べ容積で1/100という大きさだ。これは一般家庭で主流の大型冷蔵庫にほぼ匹敵する。それに加え、加工機にありがちな機構部分の露出をなくす、大胆なデザイン手法と直感的ワークフローの操作系デザインにより、人と環境になじみやすくなっている。その導入のしやすさからすそ野を広げ、日本の物づくりの飛躍的進歩に寄与することだろう。

The Lasermeister series is Nikon’s original lineup of optical processing machines that can perform a variety of laser processing with high precision. It was made by applying optical measurement and precision control, cultivated through the development and manufacture of semiconductor lithography equipment which is said to be the most precise machine ever made. It can be used for a wide range of material processing needs, from metal lamination molding to marking and joining. Based on the concept to create a device easy to use for anyone, it has a compact form and a GUI that can be easily understood. It is aimed to dismantle the mental barrier against the device and to make users feel safe in using it.

The optical processing machine was conceptualized as an easy-to-use device for anyone. At 1/100 the size of conventional models, it approximates the size of a large household refrigerator. Moreover, the intuitive workflows and bold design conceal mechanical parts usually left exposed, which allows it to blend in with any user and environment. With its ease of use, the machine is sure to expand the scope of the market and contribute to the progress of manufacturing in Japan.
