骨伝導イヤホンは、以前、耳の機能補助で注目されたが、健常者においては環境音とイヤホンの聞き分けができる利点がある。例えるなら、耳が二倍の働きをするとも言える。本製品は小型で無線、携帯性が良いので移動の際にも交通安全に配慮できる。家庭では、密閉イヤホンだと環境音が聞こえず不要な音がマイクで外部に伝わるような失態も防止できるだろう。用途が拡大するデザインとして注目だ。

The world's first fully wireless bone conduction earphone model was developed to facilitate a better relationship between humans and sound. A new listening style named earsopen® is adopted with cutting-edge bone conduction technology that enables listening without blocking the ears. By listening through the bones, it reduces the pressure on the eardrums while picking up surrounding sounds. The unique ear cuff shape design that pinches the ear eliminates the anxiety of losing wireless earphones. The product aims to dispel the common perception of bone conduction associated with rigidity and make it more familiar to the public. To achieve its goal, it has various features including a compact and stylish design, a comfortable fit without falling off easily or getting sweaty, and versatility to be used every day in scenes such as commuting, playing sports, doing housework/childcare, and teleworking.

Bone conduction earphones have previously received attention as a hearing aid. However, for people without hearing disabilities, there is a merit that they would be able to distinguish the surrounding sound from the earphone. Metaphorically, the ears work twice as much. As the product is small, wireless, and portable, users can pay attention to traffic safety while on the move. At home, users can avoid mistakes of transmitting unnecessary noise to the other side through the microphone since, unlike sound-isolating earphones, this product enables one to hear the environmental noise. It is notable as a design with the potential to expand its usage to a wide range of applications.
